Sorry - wish I could help as our hotel has bumped us off their list and we're going to Corifo Village on 7/7 for 2 weeks! ... if anyone can let me know anything about this hotel, I would much appreciate it.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thanks - will let you know when we get back ... that's if we do end up going there - family still undecided as we've discovered they don't have aircon! We've also been offered the Aeolos Mareblue hotel in Perama which looks quite good, except we know it's near the airport plus it's got a very busy road between the hotel and the beach ... having said that, none of the reviewers complain of aircraft or road traffic noise ... just wish we could have had the hotel we chose when we booked in January this year !!

Arrived back on 21/7 after a brilliant 2 weeks. The Corifo Village hotel was not as bad as we'd expected, the rooms were OK and the beds were comfy (new mattresses). We hired fans from Reception so it wasn't too hot. The pool area is lovely and the pool bar is OK ... now for the down side ... the food is pretty awful, a bit like school dinners, all texture and no taste. Very little choice and if you don't get down there as soon as the meal time starts, you may miss out as the Germans are pretty regimental about their meal times. The breakfasts are the worst, only 3 types of cereal and the cold meats are all processed. All the cold stuff had wasps on it every day and the hot stuff - always boiled eggs and fried eggs, occasionally bacon or little sausages - was always cold. The filter coffee is actually instant coffee kept warm (ish) in filter coffee jugs ... not very nice though. We ended up eating out quite a lot, which costed a lot due to the weak GBP. It's a pity about the food as the hotel is not bad, although a couple of English ladies we spoke to said their bathroom was disgusting as there was mould growing on the back of their loo! Our bathroom was fine and the shower was pretty good (powerful). Corifo us about 10 mins walk from the beach. There are some good little shops and a couple of good supermarkets. We hired quad bikes & scooters from the bike shop near to the hotel (on main road) - I think it was called Bike2000. The guy who runs the place is English & he's quite helpful. Harrys Bar next to the hotel is great - good cocktails and the owners daughter, Angela is great fun. Can recommend Maistro taverna on the beach - great for watching the sunset and also the Pumphouse near the little roundabout on the main road. If you're still going to Corifo, hope you enjoy it!

... also forgot to mention that the "snacks" served from the pool bar (the only bar they use by the way) only consist of toasted sandwiches (not good ones either). Also, we'd read on a website that there was an a la carte restaurant, but there isn't - they only have the buffet and everyone staying there is "all inclusive".
Hope this helps.

grin and bear it. Once again thank,s for the info.
