Weather in Sharm in early January

I am hoping too go to Sharm in early January 2009. Could anyone possibly tell me what the weather is going to be like? What are the temperatures and is it hot enough to sun bathe and get a tan?

Hi there.
I was in Sharm a couple of years ago in January and the weather was good. It is still hot and I got a good tan, however it becomes dark at about 6pm and it is rather chilly on a night, therefore I would recommend a warm jacket or shawl for the evenings. Carol
