| We have stayed there, and i would say stay well clear.I think the problem is ALL INCLUSIVE.People are drinking all the time.(getting there money's worth)The kids were left to do what they wanted, running wild. There was fighting, one person was stabbed when we were there. The complex is too big. Please read other reports on this hotel.I would not go back there if it was a free holiday.

| Me and my family went there a couple of years ago and like you i had read bad reviews. i was dreading it but we had a brilliant holiday. We went october and it is quieter then, however i wouldn't fancy it high season, . We are not big drinkers and enjoy nice relaxing holidays. You do get a few who take advantage of all inclusive, but you get that anywhere. I would go again, and i am quite a fussy person when it comes to holidays.

| hi
we went there a few years ago and we had no problems apart from no seats for evening entertainment
but food was lovely lots of space to sit in peace and quiet if you want too
alcudia beach is just wonderful also the old town
hire some bikes its so easy to get around
the pirate show is worth seeing fantastic show with food included a bit of a trek to get there though
go for it
yes it is busy because there are 3 hotels on site and some people are a bit load and messy but the friendly staff makle up for it

| Stayed at the Jupiter hotel in August 2007. I think the best way to describe the experience is by comparing it to a high rise counsel Estate in Essex but with sun shine!
We choose the all inclusive package, which was average at times and very disappointing at others. The breakfast was suprisingly quite nice, a full English was on offer as well as other options. Lunch was offered but we did sample this as we were out most days. Dinner was like being back at the canteen at School, low budget options which never tasted quite right for what they were meant to be. Drink options were limited, and a every thing was offered in a plastic cup, the very sign of a good night out ? think not!
Alcudi should be used as the definition for a beautifal location spoit by tourism and commercialisation. It has been built up to the extreme and the only point of natural beaty remaining is the gorgous white beach which stretches for miles and miles. The cost line has been crowed up with shops selling fake 'Fendi' bags and restaurants which seem to host Elvis impersonators every night.
Excursions were actually not bad. We went to the Caves of Drack which took you deep into the caves where there was a light show with dancers and a story about the majorcan coast line. We also went to the Aqua park, which was a brilliant day out and I would recomment this to everyone!
In summary, we did have a good holiday in the end, but it was more to do with the company rather than the hotal and locations. Beach and water park were highlights of the holiday. everything else, in my opinion was not worse the 2 hour plane journey!
