Joined: 11 Feb 2008 Posts: 2	Hi there, Has anyone been to the Perola Do Algarve recently, I have read some old reviews but not new. We usually stay in the old town near Fisherman's beach but could not find anywhere for this July (that we could afford). Thomson's said that where the Perola is situated is very good and very close to the old town. Any info would be appreciated. Many thanks in advance

Joined: 12 Feb 2008 Posts: 4	Earwigo, Perola is located behind Modelos which is almost opposite KFC. It is a clean hotel with decent facilities but not modern by modern standards. It is very centrally located and is only around 10 mins to walk either to the strip or the old town. Gerard
