We took ryan air a few years back to barcelona (gerona). It takes about an hour to travel in to barcelona and cost us £10 on the bus that runs along side the flights (so you shouldnt have to wait around). Cost £60 in flights and taxes for two people so the extra travel into the city was worth it.
