| Yes I have to agree, we lived in norther Germany for 10 years, and always headed to Bavaria if we had a few days to spare.I love Bavaria and would go back and visit for a holiday anytime. where abouts are you margaret ?.

| In the Bavarian Forest, directly on the border with the Czech Republic. Right in the centre of Europe, surrounded by beautiful forested mountains. And the people are lovely. Blue skies and sunshine today and still plenty of snow on the ski slopes!
