Hi angel12345

We've just paid £895 too and, like you, are now a bit concerned - how did you get on?

Please let me know how you got on with Viva Access, as we have just paid the £895.00 deposit and are a bit nervous about going ahead. We have been reading the reports on this site and are not convinced. Thanks

thanks for the pm, the credit card company are getting more info on holiday solutions now so if u send them proof of miselling etc they could let you have a refund or claw back, my main mission is to discredit these people who by devious means and tactics sell these products, which are most of the time a waste of our hard earned cash. Holiday solutions is run from Gibraltar and is classed as a holiday pack this is as far as we were concerned a load of rubbish as is their web site. This particular product has been sold in various places etc and other people are non to pleased with it. The product is marketed with several other similar things by holiday ventures and as u can guess stems from Gibraltar, my way of thinking is that the misery caused by the sellers of these products will eventually go back on their own heads and then we can all have the last laugh, that would be the best xmas present of all. Good luck to all who are seeking justice.

I spoke to the people at Holiday Village last week and told them al about this site (even sent them a link so they can read all about it) I told them about ppl going back for their free week and getting a sh!t hole ! They informed me that the hotles allocate various rooms in various months and its pretty much first come first served, she knew of people getting a penthouse suite and some not so lucky. But if you choose to use your 'banked' week there (the week you bought for 30 years) you WOULD get a 4/5* room...

I have to say even thought there are lots of people on here saying al negative things, they have been more than helpful when I have called. However, we go back for our free week in April, I will let you know who is right.

I was thinking, there is the option of therm buying your holiday back. Has anyone asked about this ??

Andy.

Hi, i am one of the original people who replied to this thread and would like to add some points - we signed up for this in June 2007 and are STILL waiting for our free week as they can never give us the dates we want so have now stopped trying.

We were told by the sales rep that we had purchased a floating week which would be suitable for us wishing to holiday during school holiday times and the only reason the deeds would mention a week number was for resale purposes - LIE! They wont give us the high season weeks without paying a fortune for them.

The original salesperson advised us that we would also receive a family holiday for 4 (all inclusive to Kenya) all we would have to pay for is the flights - LIE! Also the free cruise - LIE!! We have tried to use Viva Access to book holidays in this country and France and again they NEVER have the times of year we want to go.

We have basically resigned ourselves to the fact that we have lost approx £7000 so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stay away from this company!!

In the interest of fairness, we did receive our cheques back as promised however not really much comfort due to everything else...

My husband and I went for a week's holiday at the Luna Alpinus Hotel in Portugal
where we met a representative (Chris Butcher) of a Company known or unknown as EIL (European International Leisure) who we later learned were associated with Viva Access and Holiday Solutions and guess what we appear to have lost our money over £3,000.! This chap Chris Butcher appeared to be a really nice guy and we were persuaded that we could have holidays at, for example The Sheritan Hotel for less than 70% of the market price etc etc and as a bonus they would 'sell' our time share after we had bought this three year plan for a trial price of £2,950 (they actually took an extra £100 out of our credit card as a bonus to themselves. We agreed to this 3 year plan and parted with our money. The next day we were presented with an agreement with a completely different company - Holiday Solutions and nothing tallied with what we were told. When we queried this and after discussion we were told that if we didn't sign the contract then we couldn't get our money back but if we signed then we would be covered by the act whereby our money would be returned if we cancelled within 14 days. When we arrived home and did some research we realised that we had been 'had' and tried to cancel but to no avail we have not to date received any money or holiday package and have been continually ignored. It has now been 6 weeks since our holiday. Our credit card company are now investigating. MY ADVICE WOULD BE TO KEEP CLEAR OF EIL, HOLIDAY SOLUTIONS AND VIVA ACCESS.
