| can anyone tell me how much does it cost a day to hire sunbeds on the beach, and are snacks and drinks reasonable in the resort, we have not been here before. Is it safe to leave towels on the beach when we go in for a swim, or off for a walk? Any information would be great.

| Hi, Cala Dor is a fantastic resort and I have stayed at the Ponent Playa about 9 times. I cant remeber exactly about sun bed prices but I do remember it adding up if you had 2 everyday for a fortnight like we did once! Its perfectly safe to leave your towels, we used to leave our beach bags too, but not with valuables in obvoiusly. There are loads of places to eat which are nice. During the day the Ponent Playa has a decent beach snack bar and there is one the other side of the beach which does nice food. In the resort there are loads of places to eat - more upper class ones at the marina. Loads of bars too. We always end up at the mini golf bar - sounds tacky but its a really nice place to sit and people watch, Juan the owner is great. I really cant fault Cala Dor. Going back there in 10 days with my 8 month old. Have a great time!

| Hi,
It costs 12 Euros per day for two sunbeds and an umbrella. I believe it is quite safe for you to leave your towels on the beds when you go for a swim or a stroll, there are usually plenty of people around. I wouldn't leave any valuables though. We didn't find the snacks and drinks too prohibitive, but on the beach just up some steps is a supermarket and you can get drinks and nibbles there which is obviously cheaper. The pool bar is not too bad for hot food either. Hope this helps. I have written a review of the hotel, but it is not on the website yet. There is one on Trip Advisor which I have put in with photos which I hope will give you an idea of the hotel.
