We are looking for a really good class hotel within the Calangute area please
for around October 2006.

What sort of creepy crawlies have you encountered? We don't like lizards (geckos) in the room or hotel. Can cope with them outdoors.

We are not namby pamby people, having been born and bred in India, would like to avoid if possible during our hotel stay.

We've stayed in numerous hotels in Calangute area over the last 10 years and have found the Nizmar to be one of the better ones. Rooms are quite spacious (no insects or other nasties!!), clean and, best of all, you're off the main road and it is quiet. All rooms have mini-bar fridge (prices no different in hotel to outside), TV, AC and ceiling fans (which are better than air-conditioning on all night).

The hotel also has a couple of restaurants within the complex which, although I have not tried them, look very nice. It's in an ideal position - near enough to centre of Calangute (which is very busy, noisy and dusty), Candolim and Baga (short taxi ride to both).

If I can be of any further assistance, please let me know - you'll have a fantastic holiday - we usually do and is one of the reasons we keep going back year after year.
