Peninsula Beach Resort

Our holiday Company have changed our hotel for our visit to Calungut Goa in Feb 2007
and we are now staying at Peninsula Beach Resort.

Has anyone any directions of where it is in Calungute? Just want to know general area please. Have been going for about 11 years now and don't recall seeing this hotel.

This happened to us in Jan 2005. We like you posted for info on similar sites and were advised not to go. People moved off their own back it was that bad. We cancelled the holiday(which you can do) got our money back and rebooked with another company.

It is on Holiday Street (the road opposite Daytrippers) on the right with shops underneath and opened in 2004/2005. We saw it and were really glad we didn't stay there. It was horrible. We went back to Calangute in December 2005 and to be fair they had made some improvements on the outside and it looks ok but don't know what the inside is like. I wouldn't go though. This seems to be the place they put all the 'overbooked' clients!!!

We are going back next week and like last year booked a flight only and staying in a great little guesthouse right on the beach in Candolim.

Please could you advise which guest house you stayed in at Candolim.

We stayed at D'Mellos in Candolim, very cheap and clean. Actually going again tomorrow for 3 weeks. He was full for the first 5 days so we are staying at another beach guesthouse called Lucia which has had great reviews. Can't wait!
