Hi all!!!!

i would like to know if there is any in flight entertainment on the thompson flights going from Gatwick to Cancun????
the idea of 10 hours on a plane without some movies to watch is a nightmare!!!!!

I am going to Cancun (Riu Cancun) Dec 5 - Dec 12 this year and i would like to know what the weather is like around this time of year???? hope its nice!

Any comments on the Riu Cancun will be a great help too!

RE inflight entertainment. Yes there is plenty, either PTV screens or the original overhead tv screens.

Hi, we went last year at the same time and the weather was very mixed but the locals said it was unusual to have so much rain - hope your weather is better. As for the Riu Cancun - lovely! In an ideal situation and food very good. We stayed at the Riu Caribe but you can use facilities in both hotels, including bars and buffet restaurants. The Sports Bar upstairs in the Riu Cancun was very lively! You are close to shops, bars and clubs there and there is also a great very cheap bus service which takes you up and down the penninsula. Have a good time!
