Mexico, Cancun Aug/Sept 08 HELP!!!

Hi All,

Just a quick question i have just booked to go cancun for 2 weeks aug/sept 2008. be completely honest should i be worried about hurricans or rain fall? tried to google it and i am getting mixed views.

Some one on here must of been this time befor and i would very much appreicite your advice...

Also will my hotel get blown away in the winds lol :-)

dont worry if you were going in late october then you may be more at risk so just go and have a lovely holiday

July and August are historically the driest months in Mexico, but I went for 2 weeks in October 2004 and don't remember any rain.

Hiya,
Me and my family stopped in riu palace mexico in playacar in august 2007 for 2weeks,
in the second week of the holiday we was hit by hurricane dean which was a category 5 when it actually hit us and being truthfully honest me and my family slept through it! We was back out sunbathing the next day and the staff do everything to help.
So dont worry about it and enjoy your time there!
