| My boyfriend and I flying out on 27th November for 14 nights to Cancun, Mexico. We are staying at the RIU Caribe. If anyone has been to Cancun in these months it would be great to hear from you regarding the weather you experienced and the same if you have stayed at this Hotel recently. Would also be great to hear from you if you have been on excursions in Cancun and what ones in particular you would reccommend!!
Thanks!!

My Profile
| Hi, we stayed at this great hotel last December for a week. Read my review on facilities etc. Unfortunately, the weather last year was unseasonably bad and we only had 2 sunny days. It was still warm though and didn't spoil our holiday. Hopefully it'll be better for you this year. The hotel organises a "party bus" at 10pm most nights to take you to the Clubs - you get VIP entrance, a reserved table and all drinks included for the same price as normal entrance with drinks. It's organised by the entertainments team who are the best! There's also lots of restuarants if you want to eat outside the hotel.
There are lots of excursions - again unfortunately we didn't get on any boat trips due to weather but went to Xcaret, which is about 45 minutes south and is a natural theme park with underground rivers, dolphins etc. It was about $80 each but was a full day and really good. You can go to ancient Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza for about $50 but it is a long trip (about 130 miles). There's lots to do here and we will definitely go back sometime in the future.

| Hiya Charlotte,
i went to Mexico in may this year stayed at Riu Caribe. Its a brilliant hotel can not fault it. There is lots to do entertainment every night. The restaurants serve great food. The weather was great when i went. One thing you must do is swim with dolphins. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and its great if you have a ocean view room. There is also a photographer there he has parrots snakes and baby monkeys you can have a photograph taken i did. The transfer from Cancun airport is about half an hour. If you go into Cancun where the nightclubs and bars are you really need to get a cab as its about ten mins away. Also be careful of the taxi drivers ask them how much to where you want to go before you get in as they can charge you more than they should. The rep will tell you this. But im sure you will have a great time as you can also use Riu Caribe's sister hotel. Have a great time.
Thanks

| Can anyone (preferably females with long hair) tell me what the hair dryers are like at the Riu Caribe?
