going iberostar paraiso del mar in november

i have just booked 2 weeks in this hotel for early november,my partner has phobia about seaweed, all pics we have looked at show patches in the sea, is this true, also kind of weather to expect and quality of hotel as never been to mexico before. any input do or donts will be taken on board. thanks .....
