| off on the 18th March can anyone give me tips on Silver Sands Hotel in Candolim -nearest pub? and restaurant tips are always useful
I believe the Beach shacks are good any reccomendations
Any good web links?

| Just got back stayed at the silver sands you'll love it. Have breakfast at Ceu Mar belongs to Silver sands and overlooks beach.Visit Bobby's shack on the beach. Chicken knock is a must,:thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:

| Thinking of going to Goa next March (end) and early April. Can you tell me what the weather was like and whether the "shacks" and "shop" were all open?

| Agree about Bobby's Shack. We spent alot of time in here over christmas and new year. It was fantastic on New Years Eve. Also try Frannies Shack, Frannie and Marccia will look after you. It's not far from the shipwreck. very nice people.
Say hello from Bill and Sue for us if you go. And you can try Mrs Alexandras and The Inferno all are good. Pop into Bruno's No1 Shop. just over the road from Donna Alcina, ask for Anita, she sells just about everything.
Whatever you do don't repeat don't stay at the Donna Alcina or Donna Francesco, These hotel are in dire need of a makeover. It's a shame as the staff are great but the hotels are very shabby.

| the silversands is in a brill place its a 2min walk from the beach and so near all the pubs and places to eat. i woulid say the hotel is more for people who are over 40ish not much in the way of partys ect ect. but brill little hotel clean and staff are ok as well;)
