| Hi,
I am wanting to go somewhere really nice for my 30th birthday next year, only its in October and i dont want to go when the weather is too rainy.
Can anyone recommend the best places to go in October where the sun is likely to be shining without much rain or hurricanes preferably!!
Thanks
Jo

| Dear Jo,
In my biased but humble opinion :hotsun: Curacao is the best place for a vacation in October, or any month of the year for that matter. We hardly get any rain, we are outside the hurricane belt, we have absolutely gorgeous beaches, a few of the worlds top diving locations, great for snorkeling. And unlike Aruba, more than one beach, we have all sorts of beaches, corally for the snorkeling enthousiasts, sandy for others. Curacao is also a lot less expensive than Aruba. You can go on romantic sailing boat excursions to smaller uninhabited 'Klein Curacao', have romantic dinner by candlelight or happy hours with live music on the beach. You name it Curacao probably has it. Like I stated in an earlier thread, I believe Curacao is the best kept secret in the Caribbean. Just google it you will find a wealth of information! Hope I've been of help.:hello2:

| Hi,
I've been to both Barbados and Antigua in October and found both got a lot of rainfall which caused the humidity to be very high.
I think in general that the caribbean is not at its 'driest' in October. My friend went to Mauritius in October and said that the weather was fine.
With all this global weather change nothing is the same every year though.
I hope this helps
