HI
I've never been to the caribbean before and have not ready studied the weather - apart from knowing the obvious last year hurricanes - when does the season start - can anyone tell me if it's likely to be better weather in the last week of May as opposed to the middle of July - or does anyone know of a good site where I can gain some useful unbiased info - these are the only two slots I have available this year and not sure whether its worth making the trek there
thanks
Bib

Re: Caribbean Weather
Which part of the Caribbean are you thinking of going to?,I go end of may every year and I have never had bad weather odd shower every now and again some even quite dramatic .The rainy and hurricane season is from june to nov most bad weather hits late summer just when the cruise ships get there .I prefer may/june to july its a bit cooler and its not in the school holidays also the prices are very keen.I noticed a holiday in varedero cuba end of may 2 weeks 24hr A I 1650 for two people that was with eclipse direct and it was 4* .Hope this helps

Hi Bibby, we went to Antigua mid July last year for two weeks and had wonderful weather, just the odd heavy shower which dried up within ten minutes :sunny:

We go to the Caribbean every year Mexico, Dom. Rep, Antigua, Cuba and I must say the best time to go is May, preferably early May. ::roll:
