Hello,

We are going to the eldorado royale in Mexico next month and wondered if anyone has been, if so, was there a real problem with sun loungers?? Does the hotel not remove towels from "booked" beds??
We are not in a casita and i'm really worried about reviews we have read!

Would love to hear from someone that has been Thanks xx

I'm reading your message with envy as we went there last year and absolutely loved it. We went at a quiet point in the season so we didn't have much of a problem with 'booked' sun loungers, but there was stil a bit of a problem. We got frustrated at the beginning of the holiday, but towards the end just decided 'if you can't beat em, join em'. So we would leave towels out the night before, after our meal and found them there the next morning. It's not ideal, but this is the only fault I could find with this place. The food was amazing, the service excellent and the surroundings blissfull.

I hop you enjoy.

Helen

You have nothing to worry about. We got up naturally early about 5-6am and everyone is putting towel out on the loungers. There are plenty of beds to go around anyway. I went last year with my Boyfriend and i could not fault it. The food is to die for and we are going to go back next year, it is the best holiday and the most luxurious hotel i have ever stayed in (cost me a fortune)but worth every penny. I would go back every year if i could afford it. The only lounger distupe that we has was, i went to the toilet and my boyfriend went to get a drink. Some very selfish American couple had been eyeing up our bed and when our backs were turned they pushed our towels to the side and claimed that they fell on the floor so they took the bed. We were only gone 2 minutes. I think were were just unlucky on that front everyone else was really nice. Have fun whilst you are there it is an amazing place.
