Hi this will be the first time i have actually ask for advice so i hope someone can help me.

My husband and i are booked to go on a cruise and have a balcony on veranda deck which is by the way on board the carnival triumph its on deck 8 but we have discovered it is the 1st balcony at the front.I am wondering now will our view be obstructed because of the shape of the boat having looked at a picture it seems wider fronted if you know what i mean.

Anypersons have any ideas on this i would be most grateful.

Hello bustab,
Welcome to the cruise section of HW

Firstly you should be ok whatever deck you are on with a balcony, they are obliged by law to inform you of any restricted views or obstructions.

You can check this by either a phone call to your TA, a call to the Carnival UK office or by checking the brochure or web-site.
In other words just ask.

Hope this helps, for further cruises any cabin closer to mid-ships is best, but these do tend to go early.

Have a great cruise, would like to hear and read a review on your return, as I know very little about the modern Carnival fleet.

What is your cabin number, If you have a brochure you can check what the cabin is like?
