Corralejo Weather

Hi

We are travelling to Corralejo in Feb 08, can anyone advise on what the weather might be like?

Also any info on the Los Alios apartments would be appreciated?

I think the weather is usually about 20/21C at this time of year although I remember a few years ago when they had a really cold winter and it snowed in Tenerife, it was that unusual it was on the news.
Fuerteventura like Lanzarote is cooler than Tenerife and Gran canaria as they are not as windy.Fuerteventura's name actually means windy island apparantley.
However Fuerteventura is a vey nice place, we stayed in Fuerteventura in 2002 in corralejo and im sure there is a lot more to do now , I know there is a waterpark now but wasn't one when we went . There is a really gorgeous beach too near the olivia complex which you can get to on the little train (which we found out after we had walked all the way!) It has golden soft sand and turquoise sea.

My wife and I were there in February a couple of years ago and the weather was very good up to 25 during the day but cool at night light jacket or good woolly required to keep out the chill of the night air.

The beach was full every day, we hired a car and did some touring very sparsely populated but made a change from the other canaries

Last Febuary we were on the beach in Lanzarote when a text came through to say it was snowing in England and all the planes were delayed,it was lovely sat in the sun thinking of everyone freezing in England. We will be in Fueteventura first week in Feb 08.
