Blanes in general..

im getting all excited now, dispite bad reviews ive seen.

I beleive Blanes is quiet and mostly dutch orientated ( not many brits) i wonder how true that is...

is it a picturesque town or bold and brash, any info would be grately appreciated....also what weather is normally like, is sea warm, and pools etc

also any great places to go/do with a young child

We had a lovely time... although was not much entertainment and was very quiet. The weather was great, with only 1 overcast day....and the apartment was fab... considering what we paid, we cant complain

would I go back....probably not ...We went to the next town up ( lloret de Mar) and this was more like it, it was buzzing, good entertainment..nice beach bars etc...it was more our taste.

Callella is quite good too, more to do there than in Blanes. Blanes is mostly for campers and caravaners.
