costa brava villa renting

I plan to go to Costa Brava, anywhere between Girona and Barcelona in September and I was trying to rent a villa. All the internet agencies I found that were renting villas, are asking for all the money in advance (non refundable). I can't decide what to do. I have the flights booked and my time is running out in finding a nice villa. I am looking for reviews: villa reviews and agencies that are renting villas reviews. I am afraid that I will pay all the money in advance and I'll get to a place with no villa or with a villa that looks nothing like the nice pictures. I would appreciate any help.
