Hi there,
We're going to Playa D'Aro in mid september and have heard all the press reports of jelly fish in the area.
I was wondering if anyone has any personal experience of the critters this summer in the area?
We enjoyed a holiday in Tossa a few years back, and the sea was beautiful, we are hoping the jelly fish aren't going to spoil this holiday. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Jelly fish?
Dont' worry too much about them I live in Barcelona and there are a few of them every year but they get removed quickly.
Besides they sell a sunscreen that also protects against jellyfish, you can find it in any pharmacy.
Hopes this info proves helpful.

Jelly fish?
Thanks Genobaby, good to know.
I presume its a local brand of sunscreen, not something we could pick up at Boots?!
I sound paranoid now! I've had a fear of those things since childhood and the thought of lots of them is horrific. I'll take on board what you've said, the press do tend to exagerate these things.
Thanks again for your reply.
