Pineda De Mar --- Resort info please

Can anyone give me any info on the resort of Pineda De Mar please?
Were due to fly there in 3 weeks time, and would love some info on how to fill our week with fun exciting things to do. Were a family of 3, with a three year old child.

pineda is a very quiet resort that has a market one day.
there are a few bars etc but mostly you will have to make your own entertainment or go to calella/
for daytimes you can take a train for a day in barcelona, or try either or both

trains and buses are cheap so try visiting the other resorts like tossa, which is good for a day out, or lloret and calella for shopping.
