Booked flights, which resort and apartments?

Postby loujay on Sat Aug 11, 2007 9:31 pm

Booked our flights to the Costa del Sol for next year but just cant decide which resort to go to or which apartments. We like to relax during the day at the pool or on the beach and go out for a drink at night. We like it to be quite lively, any recomendations please.

We went to Spain at the end of August to Marbella a 45min ride from Malaga airport. It was really nice, with lengthy beaches, promeades, restaurants, bars. Peuto Banus (60mins from airport, which would cost an extra 100 euros by taxi) might suit you if you like it be lively, as this is where all the rich park there yachts, and hotels on the beach, with lively music.

My choice's would be: Dona Lola, Castillo-del-Rey, El Capistrano, etc,
all these Self Catering Resorts offer excellent Accommodations, full on site faculities including Swimming Pools, Bars and Restaurants.
With the choice of 1 or 2 bed units sleeping 6. max. Entertainment on your door step, or travel further afield.Hiring a car adds to your enjoyment, plus allows you see something of Andalucia.
