Railway Station - Costa Del Sol

i am visiting torremolinos/benalmadena for the first time this summer , i am stopping in some private apartments(fontana),which are on the avenue de'espana,near cariluela beach. i wonder if anyone can tell me how far i am from a railway station,and which one it is.and also what is the area like where i am staying.

The nearest station is Montemar Alto and is about one mile up a very steep hill from the Carihuela beach.
