hiya...
we're off to la Pineda in a couple of weeks, and I want to know if it's worth taking travellers cheques or just cash?
Are t.c's easy to cash and use? and does it cost a lot to use them?..thinking it may be best just to take cash?
Any advice would be appreciated.
many thanks in advance..xxxx

Travellers cheques or just cash?
Hi
It's usually pretty easy to cash travellers cheques wherever you go. I always take them as the thought of someone taking all my money doesn't bear thinking about! At least you have the guarantee that they will be replaced.

you will normally be charged for changing travellers cheques.
why not just use the ATM machines as most people do at home.
if you have a nationwide account they dont make any charges.
i just use my natwest card and get a reasonable exchange rate.you do have to withdraw a decent amount of money to make the finances viable, but it is better than taking cash.
