Weather in Salou

Hi,
We are off to La pineda on Tuesday, I have religiously been checking weather forecasts for the two weeks we are there!!! I`ll die if its raining and cloudy all the time. Has anyone been recently? was the weather good, anyone know if the weather is generally good in may? Thank you.

we stayed at la-pineda.( golden donnaire) early june. and it was boiling hot. we were informed it had been like that in may as well. the only time it rained. was early hours of the morning. and then it really did throw it down. thunder and lightning. but it only lasted a few hours.

try the waterpark in la-pineda. its superb....

Thanks so much for replying, Feel a little better now. I`m staying at the Donaire beach too, is it nice? what is the food like? We have purchased our tickets to Port Aventura already, we got a fantastic deal. Well worth looking for those discount voucher codes that you insert at the checkout and you can get between 10 and 20% off. Is the water park "Aquopolis" Heard its much better than that Caribe one. Thanks so much for your advice and help. Lets hope the sun shines. :0)

yes the hotel is fine, the reps are great if you have kids. the food is good, we have been for the last two years. to the same hotel. at this time of year. you dont have to get up early to get a sun lounger.
the supermarket. on the front is great value. just near the aquapolis
waterpark. watch out for pick pockets, there were quite a few about, some even in the super- market just outside the hotel.

try to go to portaventura, one evening. the firework display is fantastic.
and if you can. try to get a room poolside. much quieter. than if your room is facing the front of the hotel. you should love it, if jackie the rep is there. she's great really mad. but gets the adults doing all the games.... you will love it....

We have been to Salou 8 times, when the kids were younger we took them, we went last May on our own, our kids are grown up now.
May can be changeable, the nights can be a little windy and chilly.

Thank you for all your input and advice it is much appreciated, It`ll probably see me step off the plane and lash it down!!! Anyway as long as my little boy has a good time. Thanks for the advice about pick pockets, that happened to me in Florida its a horrible thing to happen. Will definitley try to get to Port Aventura one evening, I managed to get a 14 day pass for the price of a three day pass, three passes cost me just over �100, I thought this was quite a good price compared to the Florida tickets. Anyway Once again thanks for your advice, really helpful.

Hi were going to la pineda to on Tues, also staying at golden donaire!! jus bin checking out the weather, not lookin too good!!!! fingers crossed its going to pick up a bit in next few days. where are you flying from?

Hi Mccull,
Weather is much the same been really bad. Raining today AGAIN!!! everyone stuck in the hotel. My son was in the pool in the rain... he wont let anything stop his fun. We have had a couple of sunny days, but the weather all in all has been a real let down. I hope you have a lovely holiday, and ill let you know when I get back what the rest of our stay is like.

We are flying out tomorrow, weather doesn't look good for Monday/Tuesday but hopefully will pick up. We are only going for 4 nights, just hoping it isn't a total wash-out!xxx
