Any driven at night from Heraklion to Sissi

Hi

We're staying in Sissi and don't land in Heraklion until 01.40. As we're looking to hire a car we're thinking of dispensing with Transfers and driving from the airport to the hotel. Was wondering whether anyone had done this and how difficult or easy a drive it is late at night.

It is easy to drive late at night by a car. I hadn't any problems with it when I was there
