Where To Stay In Dubrovnik

I am trying to find a good hotel in Dubrovnik as I am planning to take my wife for a special birthday next may ( she won't let me say how old she will be ) she went there many years ago before the troubles and I know she would love to go back.....we would prefer maybe 4 star but I have been unable to watch any video clips on HW ???? so ....where should we stay & please advise on trips worth doing.

Thanks, I'm don't know why I couldn't view the videos I can on other websites but I just get a blank screen.

Hi Techie, I still get a blank screen however i have no trouble watching any videos on the sites bex gave me !!!!!

Hi Mike,
My husband and I went to Cavtat, near Dubrovnik on 30th May this year. See my review on the relevant page. We really enjoyed it although we weren't actually in Dubrovnik. We are 50 and most of the other clients in the hotel were older. We did notice that not all the local bars were geared up this early in the season.
Croatia is a lovely place though and you might find it worthwhile like we did to book your flights independantly with BA or Croatia Airlines. You can also book a taxi transfer online.
