I was looking up Imperial Majesty Cruise lines because they had an ad in the paper for employment in the Sun- Sentinel. To see that they are scamming people I would rather stay unemployed.
Here is the number in the ad 954-351-0087
Imperial Majesty Cruise Scam

May be I'm the mug for repeatedly turning down this 'fabulous' offer every time they ring me ? However, the fact that they refuse to send me details in the post for me to consider at my leisure, before giving up my credit card details over the phone makes me pretty certain that its a scam. Further more, why are they so desperate to give me a prize ? They have rung me 3 times in 2 days to try and give away a free cruise that I'm ungrateful enough to keep refusing. Why do I have 18 months to take the cruise, when they have just explained that they are trying to fill empty cabins. How do they know that they will have empty cabins in 18 months time ?
I do have something positive to say about this company though. They have a sense of humour. Check the video on their website (link below). Its hilariously chessy. Enjoy.

i was contacted by this company 2 days ago for a survey. they said they were calling on behalf of ramada. she did a qualifying survey (i remember asking her what she was qualifying me for as she had asked if i have a large limit credit card and if i usually travelled with it.) anyway i hung up after the call saying i wonder how many days it will take for them to call me and tell me that i have won.
well i guess it took 2 days because i got a call about an hour ago and from lee jackson telling me he was calling from the ramada corporate office and he was pleased to tell me that i had been chosen for something wonderful
he went over the whole package with me and it was the same thing as above. 9 days 8 nights in florida, including a rental car from alamo, 2 nights in orlando, cruise on the imperial majesty 3days/2 nights, and then 4 nights in fort lauderdale. this is for 4 people and additionally we would receive 3 nights in las vegas and 5 days/4 nights in puerto vallarta. i asked him the name of the resorts in florida and i happened to be by the computer so i googled them and came upon 6 things telling me that it was all a rip off. so i let him continue as i read on and when he asked me for $698 to be placed on my visa i let him know what i was reading. he didn't even argue. he just said oh, so i guess you don't want me continue? i told him no i didn't and to have a good day. i am so glad that i was by the computer when i picked up the phone. he made it sound like a truly luxury trip - suites at the hotels - outside suite with balcony on the cruise ship. the only other money he told me i was responsible for was $198 each port taxes for the cruise.

I have now received my travel documents and whilst everthing they said they would send looked to be ok we decided to cancel this trip as it does look like there could have been loads of hidden charges in the form of room taxes, tipping which we not really used to in the UK.
However! i would like to say in their defense that they were during all telephone conversations very professional, polite and patient with me, and i did call at the usa no at least three times with loads of questions and one call lasted appr 1 hour (i get talk talk free calls to the US) and at no time did i doubt i would get my money back.
it took only three days for my refund to appear on my statement and to my delight i actually made £8.00 in the transaction as currencies flactuate from day to day, and this time it went in our favour!
so in short, this is not a scam! just different to the way that they promote holidays in the UK, and although i didnt go, it leaves me wondering if i did the right thing in cancelling.
has anyone actually ever gone the distance? if so, tell us how it went?

Has anybody received the paperwork? Has anybody been on this cruise/holiday? In other words, is there any more to the perturbation being expressed than rumour?
I've just paid £199 to secure this deal some time in the next 24 months with complimentary upgrade to outside stateroom for the 2 night cruise section, with a futher £199 for a second person due to be paid 60 days before departure. They gave me a different customer service no. from the one mentioned above, 001 954 331 4123, which I have phoned and got a recorded announcement that Imperial Majesty's customer care offices are closed but are open 8:30am-10:00pm Monday to Friday and 10:00am-4:00pm Saturday, closed Sunday. I made my call at about 4:30pm EST Saturday, in other words about 9:30pm GMT, half an hour after their closing time on a Saturday. The call sounded perfectly reasonable and logical.
Obviously if this is a scam I would very much like to recoup the £199. IS there any evidence that it is a scam? Conversely, is there any evidence that it is NOT a scam? Any information and facts will be much appreciated.

Beware Of Imperial Majesty Cruise Scam. Participants involved running it Jason, Cassandra, and Christine. all tried hard high octane sales pressure to get my money from my card. I met with my bank,. The result ,.They are under investigation by the Fraud Squad.Jason and Cassandra both called me back for more money from my account.I informed them of both of the consequences, and about their customer confirmation number being a dud with no answer.

I have just this evening recieved a phone call from Imperial Majesty Cruises (no. 0019543314121), claiming that I have won a cruise for 2-4 people, and that the offer was open due to empty cabins. They said all we would have to pay is the port taxes which stand at $59pp. I was told I would have to take the holiday within 18 months, but the same question crossed my mind. How do they know they will have empty cabins an 18months time? And what about air fares to Ft Lauderdale? As my husband was at work and absent for discussion, I asked them if they would call me back when my husband is home. They agreed to this, no problem. However, I thought I should grab a 2nd opinion from another family member, as we have all experienced these sort of offers before, and have all be sorely dissapointed to find out that it's a scam.
My plan was to request all the details of the offer in writting before accepting anything, or making any payment. But, as I have read some of the posts, I am now confused as to whether I should continue with my queries to the company.
I have never won anything before and am quite excited at the thought of possibly going on a holiday, but I am not in any sort of situation to lose money. Obviously, I'm not going to make any decisions until I know the full details. I'd like to know if anyone has actually taken these guys up on their offer, how much it cost and what the cruise was like. WAS IT WORTH IT???

Hi, can someone please help me.
My mum was tricked into buying this trip and thought it would be ideal as a gift for my sister and I. However, because it was a Christmas gift she wanted to leave it until around Christmas time to tell us.
When she finally did tell me, I checked it out on the internet and found all this information about how it is a scam. My mum doesn't have access to the internet so had no way of finding this out and it has now been over 30 days since the "holiday" was bought.
Furthermore, my mum paid by debit card.
Can anyone give me advise on how we can go about getting the money back?
Had anyone else paid by debit card?
Is it too late now it is over 30 days?
Thanks
x

Just to update readers and users about the Imperial Majesty Cruise Scam.Despite his reassurance, not touse and abuse my trust with details of my card.Jason then went ahead and withdrew £208(sterling from my account) even though he had not given me any further details and information about the cruise ..
Surely withall this adverse publicity. this Scam and these people must be stopped.Instead they are still milking the system. So is Imperial Majesty Cruise Line and Ramada Hotel behind them and involved?
,if not its time for these Big names to come out and prove where they stand in this scam and say is there or is there not any collusion with these charlatons, and con artists.
Please put a stop to the innocent, and trustting people and pensioners and others being conned in this dispicable scam......Anistra.

I received the call this evening and against my best judgement went ahead with it. Checked the internet and saw all the horror stories and realised my worst fears had come true.
I phoned Card company IMMEDIATELY and there was nothing they could do (if you use your debit card you can cancel the transactio because it's your money and the contract is between them and you - if you use a Credit Card the contract is between the Card co and Imperial Cruises
). However, the transaction did have a telephone number attached - 001800881744123.
I phoned, spoke to a lovely lady who didn't try the hard sell, although she did mention that they had some very nice deals. However, when I said that I wouldn't be able to afford the airfares, upgrades and taxes she immediately cancelled for me.
I can't tell on my account if the payment/refund has gone through yet, but will let people know if there are any issues.
I would also like to know if anyone has followed through with one of these hols.
