| Does anyone know the current on board the Thomson Spirit. We have delux cabins booked in August and are wondering if hairdryers etc will work in the cabins. We have just come back from the Thomson Destiny where the current was not strong enough even to run a travel hairdryer?

| It is powerful enough on the destiny if you use the tv plug socket. Not a lot of people know that though.

Bollinger,
If you take a look at the Thomson web-site it does explain what voltage is used, and the lastest info given on electrical items is that all items can be used except irons.
Under on board information I think.

| Hi bollinger
I think you will find that you will have a hairdryer in your cabin, usuallly in the bath/shower room, or in a drawer in the cabin. We usually book Suite or De luxe and have always had a hairdryer in the cabin.
We are sailing on the Spirit this week, Friday 9th, in a De Luxe, will let you know for sure if you wish.

| There is a hairdryer in the drawer in the cabin; worked fine on my lion's mane.
(You think I'm joking, about the mane, don't you!)
