We have booked this resort for our holiday in June,has anybody out there been here we have had mixed reviews about this hotel.Also can anybody tell me about tipping in Cuba,we have been to the Caribbean a few times but have never tipped untill the end of the holiday judging by the reviews i have read most people seem to tipp every single sevice time.Also what money do you take lots of different views on this aswell any advice would be great help

Hi,
I came back from cuba two weeks ago but stayed in holguin. we spent abount �1000.00 on average but that was with a �300.00 trip to havana everything is really cheap locally but trips cost more through your operator The cubans do not expect tips but are grateful for whatever you give them. Take Pens Pencils Colouring books old clothes towels and toiletries as people prefer these because there are not many places to spend tips anyway.

I hope you enjoy Cuba as much as I did!
