Cheap wedding?

Hi all,

Hopefully someone can help me. I'm hoping to get married in Cyprus in 2009. As I have to fly from Belfast and we have a wee boy, its costing us a fortune in flights and accomodation (nothing booked yet but the cheapest has been �1500!!) Thus adding the expense of the wedding is starting to concern me. Of course I would love to have our wedding with all the trimmings, but the price I have seen are out of my price bracket. Can anyone recommend anything? All together our wedding party is 11 adults and 4 children. Ideally I'd love to marry in Bellapais as that is where I was concieved!! But any suggestion would be fantastic. Thank you in advance.

you can do most of the things yourself and just get a planner to sort the legal stuff for you
