Hi sophie03

You will have to confirm with the hotel whether you are allowed to bring in your own suppliers. Some hotels will only allow you to go In-House for the DJ & other suppliers

Has anyone had experience of Spilies Tavern Bar? This is a place I am considering for my reception following my wedding at Coral Beach Hotel. Anyone tell me anything about it?
Thanks, Lorna X

Hi Lorna

Yes I know it well, who told you about this place anyway

Spillies is the far end of Coral bay from Panarrati's Hotel, it is built up on a hill overlooking the coastline and the actual taverna is built into the rock. It has a swimming pool and terraced area, the food is basic meze but very nice

Hi there

Getting married 1st September this year at Coral Beach Hotel I really do not know what to do about having the reception at the hotel or a local restuarant? I have also noticed the bagpiper replies and I have just emailed him to hopefully play at the wedding. Any suggestions? I will also need a hairdresser.

Hi Kerry

depends on what you require with your guests preference's. There are so many nice restaurants close by to Coral bay, send me an e-mail with regards to type of food and I will come up with some suggestions

hi kev,,thanks for response!!My guests are not to fussy,,maybe a few children,,perhaps 30 heads in all but could drop to 20,,who knows.was initially going to go for the hotels barbecue which involves starters, mains and desserts but may not have numbers to do so and maybe a tad expensive,,,if you could hand me some good restaurant names that would be great,,and then what is the standard time a restaurant needs to know about this??many thanks, kerry.x

I too m getting married at the Coral Beach Hotel next May nd also undecided on where to have the reception. There will be approx 30 people and I am looking fo something very informal. I was thinking about using outside caterers to have the reception at the villa where we are staying. Any suggestions would be greatfully appreciated

Hi There,

I have been reading all the replies regarding the Coral Beach Hotel. I myself are looking at getting Married there in October 2010. We have booked a Villa in Coral Bay but would like the Wedding Venue at the Coral Beach Hotel. I am currently in touch with a Wedding Packages Company and I have been quoted prices for having the Ceremony there. I am not sure if I should go through a Wedding Planning Company or try to arrange the majority myself? I am also not sure about Wedding Reception, if to have it at the Hotel or local restaurant?
If anyone who has got married there previously there and have any pictures they would e-mail me I would be most grateful.
Can anyone give me any ideas? I am at that daunting stage where I don't know where to start.
My e-mail address is chris.zoes@ntlworld.com.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there

I have recently got married at the Coral Beach Hotel and we had a wonderful day, everything was perfect - with the exception of the cost. It was so expensive! In the brochure they say choice of locations but they dont tell you that each location is a seperate cost. So if you get married in one location and choose to have your reception in another you have to pay two fees for the hire of the areas. The wedding planner at the hotel is nice but we did it through Olympic Holidays and the wedding planners were brilliant. I had Rachel did my hair who is mentioned on this webiste alot and she did my hair better than i ever anticipated. Try and do as much as you can before you go so you are not rushing around trying to get things done when you are there.

P.s. don't lose your room key they charged us 86 euros to replace it.
