Dear Honey Bunny

You are correct.

Why don't the Tour Companies and Wedding people know about the Church in Cyprus, after all it's weddings they deal in!

Ah well, the sign of the times.

Wedding in Cyprus 2007

Postby cyprusdreams on Mon Nov 12, 2007 9:13 pm

hi all, we are also planning a wedding for August next year, we was hoping for a beach wedding but this is looking at just being for renewal of vows. So we are now looking a maybe a garden wedding?????????? we are planning it so as we are the only ones there, although this may sound a bit sad it is how we would like it, at the end of the day it is us getting married beacuse we love each other and all people seem to worry about is everyone else so we are going to hold a reception on our arrival back home. So having all that in mind we was wondering where the best gardens are, hotels etc and how would we go about witnesses, are there people in thehotels who would be able to do this or does it have to be someone we know?????? I hope someone can help. A confused Sarah!!!!

Hello All,

I have booked my wedding for the 22/09/08 @ the paphian bay hotel. Will be getting married in the gardens, beside the beach of the hotel and then on to the famous zaffron for our wedding reception.

I have planned my wedding with the brilliant help of igor at ido weddings. He has taken care of all the legalities, flowers, cake, etc.

He and his team really have been fantastic! There emails and reply phone calls are always speedy and reasurring.

My reception is a private venue in paphos booked with stella, who runs a wedding planning service and has a fantastic private wedding venue. Stella has kindly arranged my hair and make up to be done along with a coach to bring all my guests to the wedding ceremony and then back to the zaffron for a great buffett. She has also arranged a DJ for the evening.

I am yet to book my photgrapher, although i have someone in mind. There is some great packages/ideas and people out in CYP that can help you brides decide on what is right for your day.

I found Kev, the piper who comes on this site really helpful - cheers kev x

I hope you are enjoying the wedding planning, if i can be of any help please contact me louisemurphy2003@msn.com

Hi Bubbles4,

You didn't say how many guests you are expecting and in which resort you are getting married in? But if you look at www.pilotevents.com they can offer you a wide choice of Marquess that they supply for wedding recep[tions throughout Cyprus. The prices on their Web Site are in sterling but if you Email Chris' one of their Operations Managers in Cyprus, he will give you the prices in Euro's and there's less VAT to pay!

I hope this helps.

Hello all! I am getting married in Pathos, Cyprus this year. I've chosen to go with wedding planner - CYPRUS DREAM WEDDINGS.

I'm looking for reviews on them. If you or anyone you know has used these wedding planners, I would love to hear what you thought of them as, no doubt just like the rest of you, this wedding means so much to us and want it to be 100% perfect!

Thanks!

Dee.

Hi,
Has anyone used Cyprus 4 Weddings, there used to be bits and pieces written about them last year - but nothing lately - are they still trading?
