Winter from Newcastle

One of my favorite winter holiday destinations is Paphos in Cyprus.

This year (and next it seems) no-one is flying to Paphos from Newcastle Airport in the Winter.

Thats a shame, I'm sure lots of people would like to go if only the flights were there.

.....and by the way, Cyprus are joining the EEC this year. Does anyone know if they will be using the Euro straight away or will they still be using Cyprus Pounds?

with regard to Cyprus joining the EEC this year, they will continue to use the Cyprus� and at the moment do not intend to switch to the Euro at all. this is the latest that i have been told as a travel agent.

ooooh really. i have just this evening got back from Cyprus and asked people out there if they want the Euro and they said most def not!!! bit i agree and think that it is inevitable. thanks for the inside info! :eye:
