Anyone stayed in a decent villa?

Postby paulwatford on Tue Jan 15, 2008 11:48 pm

Can anyone recommend an apartment villa?

I am looking to go away with my wife and two of my three kids, we want to be near something to entertain the boys (8-13) and a short walk to a few bars/restaurants, nothing to built up.

Any ideas? last couple of villas we have been to were to remote.
Thanks.

Paul.

Hi, we stayed in a villa last year in Puerto Pollensa, Mallorca. It was a 10 min walk to resort centre and beach but felt like it was secluded with mountain views. Booked with villa plus and it was called Lorenzo, 3 bedrooms, pool, sky tv, pool table, ping pong and play station 2, so lots to do if you just want to hang around the villa. Great company to book with, but book flights independantly then you can choose times.

Hope this helps

Sorry but i had to have a nosey I hadnt heard of Villas Plus before so had a look myself, Some look amazingly nice but when I priced a few up for the five of us over whit hols I was given the price of 3500!roughly to include flights or 2500 without , I think they are a little too steep to be honest. Even the cheapest is a grand more than we usually pay for accom and flights.
Then there is also car hire on top too and feeding the family!

Hi Honey Bunny, have never seen any late availability im afraid and yes they are steep in price but we only have one main holiday a year so we save to pay the extra because they are such a good company to travel with. One year our playstation was missing a cord and the rep had a spare in her car! Also the extra facilities in the villa are great as children have plenty to do if mum and dad just want to relax round the pool. Also we have done more things as a family around the villa, pool competitions, ping pong even play station when it rained once. When we price a holiday with them we strip the price right down to just the villa and then get everything else cheaper else where.
