A simple Poll.

Have the sad recent events in Spain put you off Traveling outside of the UK?

Are you afraid to Travel?

After Sept 11th I was afraid to go to NY, but since then I have realised that these things are happening globally and therefore I have to carry on with travelling as normal. We stayed in the Hotel Cala Font last year where an Eta bomb had gone off in the car park two years before that.

i would never be put off travelling because of terrorism. it can happen anywhere at any time and if no-one travels then the terrorists have won. i travelled out to Cyprus just 2 days after the Sept 11 atrocities on an arab aircraft with an arab crew! Silly maybe, but it was something i had to do. Security is at an all time high in our airports and i am off to Cyprus again at Easter! we Brits are known worldwide for courage in the face of adversity and not giving in to terrorism and i fully support this.
i'll get off my soapbox now!!

No way. Not travelling is just giving into the terrorists. Besides, the terrorists are just as likely to attack the UK next as anywhere else, so why stay here?

No chance. A terrorist attack can happen anywhere and at any time - the Trafford Centre has apparently been on red alert for an attack for over 12 months. It's certainly not gonna stop me shopping!
