Barcelo Margaritas in playa del ingles

If you are looking for a hotel in gran canaria, dont go to the barcelo margaritas. Just returned from 2 weeks and would not recommend this hotel to anyone, although the resort is quite nice. There are some really nice hotels in the area but barcelo margaritas is not one of them. Shabby, run-down, and bit like a holiday camp. This hotel had a good reputation but this year there have been many complaints about the understaffing and poor service. The weather was good and very hot, the entertainment poor, and the accommodation shabby, run down and needs a complete overhaul.
