Hi! We are booked for two weeks in Olhos d Agua, at the casa pedra apts. This is for adults only and comprises six apartments and swimming pool. One or two bedroom apts available, we have a one bedroom apt. We booked with First Choice and paid 936 for the two of us, this included a 100 discount. We booked in Dec and there was only one apt left. We have used First Choice several times and can honestly say we've been happy with our holidays (hope that doesnt put a hex on it!) Maybe we could have done it cheaper booking on an independent basis, not sure, as air fares go up then, Easyjet want 185 for return flights out of Bristol, which is our nearest airport. Gill

Booked for 2 weeks in Kefalonia with Kosmar staying at Lourdas Beach Studios in Lourdas (right on the beach) paid 628 for 2 of us on a self catering basis. Going on the 22nd May and hoping it will be fairly warm then, if anyone has been that time of year and can let me know it would be appreciated. Last time we were in Kefalonia it was September 2003 and thoroughly enjoyed it then, we stayed at the Karavados Apartments in Karavados, it was a bit remote but as we had a car it didn't really matter, I think a car is a must if your visiting the island. Only drawback with going there is we have to fly from Gatwick as there are no flights from our local airport Stansted. Can't come round quick enough for me.

I booked last July to go to Sunny Beach Bulgaria this August with Balkan holidays. You have to book that early to get a free child place because they don't have many. Paid 1850 for 2 weeks self catering, 2 adults, 2 children (1 free). I could have got a cheaper deal half board but having been to Sunny Beach before I know that the restaurant food is much better that the food in the majority of the hotels. We had to pay 450 under occupancy supplement for the apartment, but it is worth it because everything is so cheap when you get there.

I have also booked a week in Spain to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary in September. Booked half board because it was cheaper than self catering and the hotel food is good. Paid 1000 for 2 adults and 2 kids (again 1 free) with Portland Direct, outside school holidays. Flying from Birmingham to both Bulgaria and Spain.

Booked a 1 bed cottage in august in ibiza from owners direct, 700 for 2 weeks, flights were 610 from gatwick. Very pleased for august prices, the pool is our own, away from busy resort pools where you have to reserve your sunbed, the cottage is ina very quiet part of ibiza, 1 bed for us 2, and my 12 year old on a sofa bed, all mod cons, looks very nice. Cant wait, only downside was easyjet prices went through the roof, went from 377 to 672 in the space of 1 month, had to phone around and barter a bit, but thrilled with prices. 1310 for 2 weeks of peace and quiet and tranquility. In October went to turkey 5 star all inclusive, booked a week bofore and 3 of us went for 870, so another good bargain.

Hi Nik999
Iknow what you mean about flight prices. We got a quote with the cheap airlines for Benidorm in october for 2 adults and 3 children for 378.00 return then we thought we would try august and the price had risen to 788 00 return,as we was going to try a diy holiday but including the hotel we wanted and the extra taxi transfers and insurance it was no where cheaper doing it yourself,so we booked with Direct Holidays.
The cottage in Ibiza sounds lovely and a great price too you will have to let us know what your holiday was like i have often thought about a cottage some where in Spain.Never been to turkey but may go sometime we go to the canaries in october so just wondered what the weather is doing that time of year. :occasion1

Hi Everyone!
Well, we have booked for Egypt and cannot wait for the sun, sun sun!
We are going to the Sunrise el Palacio in Hurgarda through Thomas Cook total 1,400 approx for 2 weeks AI.
The only down side to it was that Thomas Cook have cancelled flights from Manchester on the dates we wanted to go, so we are having to travel down to London the day before and stay in hotel overnight to fly from Heathrow the following morning. But at least we have got the holiday that we wanted and get to see a bit of London too, so cant grumble.
If there is anyone oout there has been to this Hotel/ Area please let me know what you thought!
Thanks
Leeann
