Hiya Kiddies,
We booked last July to go July 2005 Tuntas Apartments Altinkum, It is for 2 adults ( ish) and 3 kids ages 16,15,13,( one is a borrowed one )and I paid in total 1,349, Thomas Cook quoted me happy, and we fly from Humberside,
I did carefully look around and price lots of operators and for a change TC was the best,

Just booked the Rubimar Aparthotel, Playa Blanca Lanzarote through Barrhead Travel - two weeks in June with excellent day flights. depart Glasgow at 8am and arrive at 12.30, returning flight 1.30pm arriving back in Glasgow at 5.45pm this includes taxi transfers and all for 1195.26!

This was way less than the quotes I got booking flights and accommadtion separately - plus the only flights available were arriving late at night and leaving at 2am in the morning with no late checkout!

Would definitely recommend Barrhead - I told them what I was looking for and they fished and put together the package for me and managed to find the Rubimar which is new complex opposite the Rubicon Marina.

Here's hoping it's as good as looks :occasion1

We booked independantly this year for the first time and it worked out a lot cheaper. We booked flights from Glasgow to Alicante with First Choice airlines and all together it worked out at 900 and something for 6 of us which is pretty reasonable and they're good flight times. We booked a 3 bedroomed villa in Playa Flamenca nr Alicante through www.holiday-rentals.com and it is 350 per week. We booked for two weeks. As we are travelling with friends the price is split between us and this works out about 800 for the three of us. While I'm here we're finding it hard to find information on Playa Flamenca as it seems to be a small resort. Could anyone give me any information, it would be much appreciated! thanks! carmen x

Louis,
Just read your post and thought I would let you know that we stayed in Costa Teguise in Lanzarote last year but visited Playa Blanca and it is a lovely resort! The beach in particular is great! I also would agree that Barrhead travel do great deals having used them in the past! carmen x

Hi Techie , we booked about 8 weeks ago via travel agent .. to go to Tunisia in May , for 14 nights half board , cost 788...this includes fuel and flight supplement ... this is first time for Tunisia so do not know if it is cheap or not for the el hana hotel in Skanes.. ( have read bad and good reviews about the place ...breaking this down it is only 187 a week. ) and checking brochure price this is cheaper... Georgeone. :occasion1

Booked 2 weeks self-catering in Gumbet at the La Maison apartments for 2 adults and 1 - 9 year old child. Flying from Glasgow on 4th July with good flight times....Total cost with Direct Holidays - 1035. We booked this in January...one day it was 1400ish pounds and the next it was down to 1035, so we booked. The following day the price then shot up to over 1500!!!! Has anyone else encounter this when booking on the internet with Direct?
Would appreciate any info on La Maison and Gumbet..... :)
