| Can someone clarify this for me plse. I know you cannot exceed 100ml liquid in your hand luggage, but does this mean you can take lots of little bottles as long as each one doesn't exceed 100 ml? Tks.

| hi hils
yes you can take lots of little ones,
do not go over the limit, we have just returned from a cruise and my daughter was made to discard my grandsons milk even though it was in sealed cartons. very annoying, they say you can buy it in side the duty free, the shops must be clapping their hands, imagine if you have a couple of children the prices are ridiculous. happy hols carol

Hi Hils,
I send my creams, which say they make me look younger, by Air Freight, it works out cheaper than all those little bottles.

| Yes put all your sun creams and that in your cases for the hold, put some shoes in your hand luggage to level it out. No stillettos though or they will be confiscated as they could be used as a weapon!
We usually get them freezer bags with the funny seal at the top that you press together if we want to take a small deodrant or anything 100ml or less through as hand luggage.
Yes the liquids thing is a money making scam wait until you are coming back and get ripped off at the airports coming back when you buy drinks.

| The 'liquids thing' is not a money making scam by the airlines. The ban was imposed following valid security concerns. Questions should certainly be asked of some airports who most definitely do see the ban on liquids as a licence to print money.

| We all know it is for security reasons but when I can buy six small bottles of water in my local Tescos/Sainsbury's for £1.39, and that is retail prices, how come airports charge well over £1 for the same bottle and they buy their's at trade. Once again, rip off Britain.

| We got ripped of to the tune of 9 euro for three ribena sized kids drinks for the kids at Thessalonika airport, there was no newsagents or drinks in duty free, just in a sandwich drinks place. That was at Thessalonika airport in Greece. Would you pay 7 quid for three ribenas at home?

| Thing is there was no prices on the board so it was such a shock, If it had been just for me Id have told them to get lost , but with thirsty kids in a airport waiting ages for the flight because they brought us to the airport too early! You never know it may be one price for Greeks another for the foreigners?
