Lunn-Poly CD-Rom Brochure 2004 Now Out !

Went into Lunn-Poly yesterday afternoon to change back some 800 Euros left over from our holiday in Playa Del Ingles back to Sterling... (was so cheap over their!).

Anyway the reason for the post...!

They now have available a free CD-Rom full of holidays for 2004, saves carrying loads of brouchers around town! I've not yet looked at the disc but I'm guessing I will try and short list a few destinations first then get the books anyway - all part of the fun!

Not sure if the CD-Rom is a new thing at Lunn-Poly but seemed a really good idea and saves on paper which must be a good thing!

This is the first time I have heard of any Travel Agent doing this. Might go and get one myself.

I have never heard of this before, Way to go I think, I have already booked mine but will get a CD just to be nosey . :lol:

At least it's going to save them money on printing! Definately a good idea - but how about putting these things online as well? With more people having broadband connections, it's about time companies should be taking advantage of it.

I understand one travel agent is experimenting with streaming videos of the resorts/destinations for broadband users. If they pull it off it'll certainly set the standards for the others to follow.

Had a go with the CD-Rom last night for a bit and looks really good!

I didn't use it for long though as vibrates loads in the laptop will have to wait until I get to work!

Well worth a look at it though if you can get into Lunn-Poly or possibly order one from their web-site.

i am so glad that you have mentioned the Lunn Poly CD-rom! i work for Lunn Poly and we are piloting these in our shop at the moment and have been for a few months. we are hoping that they really take off so that they save us every travel agents worst job - brochure ordering and brochure stacking!!
seriously it seems quite a good idea and there has been a lot of interest in this. it certainly saves hauling half a dozen brochures home with you and i think it is very user friendly. we have been told that in the near future it may become interactive if enough interest is shown in the pilot scheme, so please all go and get one and help us out!!
