Yes, both companies are now "under investigation". Apparantly some people have even spoken to the landlords of 48 Great Eastern Street who "have been very helpful" and they confirm that Friday there was 15 people working from the office, today there was one who has now fled!
There is apparantly 100's if not thousands of people who have been conned by this company/person.
Seems that sunmedresorts have now stopped answering there phone as well and the admin tel. no also now answers "the mobile you have called is switched off!"
I am in the process of getting written confirmation from the hotel I was supposed to be going to that they never received a booking in my name so I can claim against the credit card. Fingers crossed.!

On my wedding day 11th august i received a answer phone message from unbeatableholidays.com/holidayrez.com/holidays4under200pounds.com stating our honeymoon due early hours of 13th august had been cancelled! with no explanation and the fear of losing £1700 we frantically rang trying to find out what was going on but like so many of you phones constantly rang and rang and now a message saying this mobile is switched off. Our travel insurance does not cover any of our loss and my mastercard company are looking into retrieving maybe half if they can. How do these people sleep at night?? the best day of our lives was followed very quickly with nothing but tears!
Feel so stupid but never realised anything was wrong as we had confirmation letters come thru and FLIGHT TICKETS from 1st choice only the answer phone message made us start investigating can you imagine our horror if we got to Zante to this wonderful hotel with my 3yr old child only to find they know nothing of us?? thank god i rang our hotel direct to enquire what was going on, but with now less that 8 hours before we were due to leave finding new accomadation was impossible hence making our flight as useful as our bogus hotel booking.
The persons name was KELLY god help her if i ever track her down!

Hi, I am yet another disgruntled customer of Unbeatable Holidays. I was due to travel with my husband and 2 young children on 23/8 to Fuerteventura. I received confirmation from Unbeatable today but have phoned the airline and you guessed it we're not booked on any flights!
Have been following the tales of woe on the Trip Advisor forum but unfortunately have not been able to log in to be able to post messages. have been in contact with Maggie from that forum (she was the lady who found out the name and phone number of Unbeatable and Sunmed's letting agents.
I have spoken to Trading Standards, ATOL, Companies Hse, the police and my own bank and made them aware of this scam. I have telephoned the number of the gentleman, that was listed in this forum, who designed the websites for these websites. Was unaware of the activity that had been going on in the last few days (he thought they were legitimate). As far as he knows the Company Directors names are:
Branislav Lolic Sun Orient Ltd (otherwise known as Sunmed)
Flat 2 29 Leinster Sq
London
W2 4NQ
Dr Shenay Mehmet Fleetwood Holidays
35 Sydenham Road
London
SE26 5EX
Pericles Pericleous Orange Sun Ltd (otherwise known as Unbeatable)
159 Gloucester Terrace
London
W2 6DX
I hope this information is of help to you all.

Re: SCAM www.sunmedresorts.com SCAM
Hi,
We too have 'been had' by unbeatableholidays.com (AKA: Fleetwood holidays, orange sun, sun orient, sumed resorts, holidaysfor200pound.com - or whoever they are) I told colleagues about this site & they too booked for their individual families, between us we have lost over £2500.
There are regular updates on 'tripadvisor.com' under 'unbeatable holidays.com' forum. Many of us have already contacted our local Police papers, media stations & also BBC Watchdog, Islington Police, Consumer Direct & Trading Standards & IGI INsurance Company (unbeatable sent us an 'insurance certificate' with IGI details on it. They too have had over 120 calls since Friday (and are very unhappy) taking certificate numbers and keeping tabs for more info via tripadvisor)
I managed to get through to 'sunmed resorts' today & questioned them about unbeatable, how long they'd been going, if they were registered with ABTA etc, the girl hung up on me. I believe IGI insurance company sent a rep down to Great Eastern St. today but the building is empty, they may have fled but are still receiving calls via their '0870' number & taking bookings wherever they may be.
I know another member of tripadvisor visited the premises of unbeatable ( 137-149 goswell rd) & again no-one was there, there was a buzzer but no name. I first noticed a problem on Fri 11th as I originally booked using a '0870' no. by Fri it had changed to '0207' and diverted to a switched off mobile! (A guy named 'Dan Jones' was speaking to customers on this mobile)
Please make sure you have cancelled your credit/debit cards so they cannot use them again and contact Islington Police - 0207 704 1212, IGI (if you have received confirmation/certificate of insurance) Trading Standards etc. I have numbers if anyone wants me to email them direct, or visit tripadvisor (not sure if I can place no.s on here.)

Are Fleetwood the same company? I couldn't find any link personally
Has anyone had any luck getting hold of the various CEOs of the companies? They all appear to be ex-directory. Orrr just false entries...

The only thing we have on 'fleetwood holidays' is that their name/address were on our so-called confirmation. (as well as unbeatable & holidaysforunder200pound!!!)

Re: SCAM www.sunmedresorts.com SCAM
Im gutted , but feel relentless in the pursuit of some sort of justice.
Yes, I too have been a victim of this horrible scam. Myself and my girlfriend booked a holiday to cyprus through holidays4under200pounds.com and needless to say have lost everything.
In disgust and frustration I have decided to try and inform some media source to highlight the problem so others dont have to go through the same thing.
here is an email I have sent to the mirror at investigate@mirror.co.uk
/// Hi,
Myself and my girlfriend , along with many other people in the uk have fallen victim to
an internet holiday scam.
To elaborate, about a couple of months ago we purchased a holiday to cyprus from a company called www.holidays4under200pounds.com. They offered very low prices and had quite a nice site. We spoke to them a few times over the phone. In the first instance everything seemed to be fine, we received our receipts and they booked our flights.
However, for some reason my girlfriend decided to give them a call yesterday to further confirm the holiday details. To her initial confusion all she got back was a message saying ' the mobile phone you have called can not be connected' . She thought this strange as she had called an 0207 number; the very one which she had spoken to them on a month or so ago.
Our confusion turned to pain when we checked the internet. First we went to the websites listed on the receipt. www.holidayrez.com and www.holidays4under200pounds.com and found them to be dead links. Then we went to www.reko.com , the company they are listed as in companies house no.5721618,
and found this to be a dutch manufacturer of industrial goods.
However the problem took on real perspective when a google search we did returned this page http://www.holidaywatchdog.com/forum/sh ... php?t=5181
The above link is a page to a forum on the holiday watchdog site. There are many people on it who have lost much more money than myself by being victim to this horrible and cruel plot.
I know that perhaps an element of naiviety has occurred on behalf of the victims but it still can not defract from the size and wickedness of this plot.
In reading the above forum you will find out more details on the extent of this problem, they have used multiple websites and may still have others that are live.
We dont wont anyone else to be a victim of this con and therefore would appreciate involvement from the media to highlight this issue, I think people need to know about it.
I hope we can chat about this more.
////////
I provided my contact details for them. It would be great if as many people as possible could send them a similar email.
I know Im not going to get my money back, therefore I want highlight this issue and the con artists behind it.
thanks

Re: SCAM www.sunmedresorts.com SCAM
If anyone wants to book a holiday online , it is safe to do so as long as you are sure the company involved is ABTA and ATOL protected, You can check this yourselves if you are unsure.
We are still doing what we can to try and help people involved with these fake companies so IF you are involved and have lost money it may be to your advantage to post on here and let us know.
