I'm looking for a holiday at the end of Sept for a week or two with my boyfriend, we're generally just looking for somewhere hot and relaxing with a few bars, but not tonnes of clubby places!!!!!!

I'm guessing the best place is the canaries for the heat, do any resorts spring to mind for anyone for a young mid-20s couple just looking to relax?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Emma, my wife and I go to Tenerife a couple of time a year. We go to Puerto de la Cruz in the north. We are going again in November. It is not as 'busy' as the resorts in the south, but there are plenty of nice shops and restaurants to suit all pockets. There is a good range of hotels and self catering. There is a good beach, (black sand) with changing facilities showers and a very good 'eat as much as you like' buffet for €5-80. There is also a sea water Lido. The weather will be hot but not too hot, take care you will burn, but we always come back with a nice tan. If you want to get around use the local buses, we buy a discount card, where you get half price fares deducted from the cost of the card. We even use it from the airport.

You can't beat Kos, the first time my ex and other half experienced rain there was on our fouth visit. We always went towards the middle/end of September. Things are starting to close down (well not really until middle of October), but its a great place. We always stayed in Kardamena, which although is known for the 18-30 crowds, is very varied and all ages go there.
