Hello there .. new to this forum.

I've just booked a week in SANTORINI from 17th July ... can't wait! It's an island I've always wanted to go to but for some reason or other, we've never booked it before.

Went to Kephalonia last year. The people are lovely. It's a quiet island, lovely food and drink.
The only thing is it's mountainous, if you're scared of heights, stay in your resort.

We are off to Jamaica in May. It is our first long haul holiday so am a mix of excited and nervous.

saffy --We took a day cruise from Crete to Santorini. It is beautiful sitting on the edge in a restuarant looking out over the crater. hard to oimagine it was once an island.

If you go up the steps have Fun. I would advise against walking down as the people we passed seem to have trouble keeping their footing

The world is your Oyster, it depends how far you want to go, Golden Sands in Bulgaria is lively with great beaches, Palma in Majorca is a lively place. Salou on the mainland is another lively resort.
Being as you say you've got a teenager, I would recommend Alcudia on Majorca, great beaches, loads of discos, bars and cafes. You wouldn't be bored for a minute.
