| please can someone advise us we are looking for a holiday in october around the 6th,we want some sunshine but have been to canarys and its very windy.whats greece like in october,we always have to go around this time of year due to work and everywhere seems to close down then.and any advice on how to gaurantee a sea view?

| Most greek islands close at the end of october so you will probably drop on good prices. Cyprus is a year round island though.
Weather isnt guaranteed anywhere anymore, but the further south you go the better the weather will be. Turkey is quite nice too in october with temps in the mid 20's

| Benidorm is superb in October, you'll come home with a terrific tan.
We once went to Kos in early October, it's hit and miss, you can get some good days, but it can be windy and wet too.

| hi there,
we are going to fuengirola end of sept for 10days.
the feria is on then and lots to see and do.
we have been several times before at this time of year and the weather was good.
not over hot but still lots of sun...maybe we have been lucky!!
