Hi! New to this site and looking for some reviews if possible?!?

I am going to Dom Rep in August and staying at the Iberostar Dominicana. HAs anyone stayed there?

I haven't stayed at the Dominica but have stayed at both the Iberstar Costa Dorada and Hacienda Dominicus in the Dom Rep and the Iberostar Paraiso in Mexico. You can't go wrong with Iberostar in the Caribbean. They are excellent. Enjoy your stay. We have frienda staying at the Dominica in June. Will get feedback from them.

I stayed at the Iberostar Dominicana in April 2004, you will not be dissapointed, it's a brilliant hotel. Food is good, the rooms were clean and spacious.
There is also a sister hotel located next door which you are able to use. The swimming pool is huge, its got jaccuzi's that you can book and use on a daily basis at no extra charge.
The staff are polite and friendly, make sure you tip on the first night as service will be even better from dining room staff.
There is a beach market within easy walking distance which is safe to walk to but make sure you barter.
The jeep safari day trip is highly recommended and was the highlight of our holiday! there is nowhere to go shopping so spend your money on the trips you wont be disappointed.
