Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort or Iberostar Costa Dorada ?

Hi,

Am in in the process of booking a holiday the Dominican Republic for my wife and I to celebrate 10 years of marriage. I t has special meaning as we had our honeymoon in another Caribbean Island (Jamaica) 10 years ago.

Having spent many, many hours reading reviews, I have narrowed the search doen to these two hotels: Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort or Iberostar Costa Dorada - both 5 stars. I seem to favour the Iberostar as it gets great reviews, is nearer the airport we are landing in and to some trips I'd like to do, but the only thing holding me back are some people's reviews of the beach - saying it has lots of sea weed, etc.

Is this a small price I should pay for a better hotel or is the Grand Palladium better? Anyone been to both and could offer some advice.

Am desperate to get it right - for our second honeymoon !
